A little about me...

I grew up in the southern suburbs, earned a degree at the College of Saint Benedict and currently reside in the Como Park neighborhood of Saint Paul with my husband Tim.

My hope, as an invited member of your home-buying or home-selling journey, is to provide you with as many resources, as much information, and as much understanding about the process, as possible. I am a person committed to life-long learning and so far I have found real estate to be one great outlet for keeping my knowledge growing - the market and the needs of clients are ever-changing. Every home, every family, every transaction is different and my clients can rest assured that I never take their trust for granted - I earn it with hard work, reliable service and an approach that leaves them with no doubt that they are in good hands.

Why I became a Realtor...

I didn't expect to be a Realtor, but a few years ago a friend decided to buy a duplex with another friend. They were both first-time homebuyers. I tagged along to observe and learn a few things about the process. As first time buyers they were naive, and so was I, we had no idea what to expect from a good Realtor, no idea what the market was like in the area we were looking, no idea what all the paperwork was for, and no idea where to research all of these things on our own.

We trusted that our Realtor was looking out for us and would guide us in the process. Soon after the transaction was complete we starting talking with friends who had also bought homes. It was then that we realized our Realtor didn't come close to "looking out for our best interest" in the way that he should have. We felt betrayed, ashamed and upset that the person we trusted did not do all that he could have to make us more comfortable and confident with the whole process. Sadly, being naive first time buyers, we didn't even know at the time to expect anything different!

Then came my revelation...It occurred to me that I could get my real estate license, learn all about the process and ensure that no one I know ends up feeling overwhelmed or alone in the process like we did. So, I did. I am passionate about many things outside of real estate and I also feel that I do the best work for clients when I have only two or three to focus on. Therefore, I reserve my services for direct referrals from family and friends and refuse to work with more clients than I feel that I can serve effectively at one time. Integrity is what brought me to this business and it is the fundamental principle by which I run my business.
